A Kiosk Has Come to Coleraine’s Cotton Park

Kiosk

The City of Coleraine has been working to increase opportunities for physical activity and promote the resources that are available to residents and visitors of the community.  Last spring a connection from the Mesabi Trail to the Canisteo Trail was completed.  “Our goal is to complete a full figure 8 off the Mesabi Trail that goes through Coleraine and Bovey,” states Cavour Johnson, community volunteer.  Throughout the summer Get Fit Itasca worked with volunteers to develop trail maps and place a kiosk in Cotton Park to promote available trails in the area.  With the cooperation of the city, many volunteer hours, and private and public funders, we are excited to say the kiosk is up!
