Nashwauk Community  Garden

Started in 2011, the Nashwauk Community Garden can be found off Hawkins Ave towards LaRue Pit on the north side of the road.

The garden is managed by volunteers with support from the City of Nashwauk and Mr. Ed's Farm.

Anyone in the Nashwauk-Keewatin area is welcome to have plots seasonally.

Gardeners

What's Provided

  • Plots are available free of charge

  • Plant your own selection of seeds and plants

  • Maintain your plot for the season (weeding and watering)

  • Harvest fresh produce for personal use or donate to Neighbors Helping Neighbors!

  • Individual plots, up to 20' x 20' for 1 plot

  • Spring and Fall tilling by draft horses from Mr. Ed's Farm

  • A porta potty

  • Access to hand-held garden tools

  • Access to rain barrels

  • Compost area​
